WELCOME TO THE 10TH ANNUAL TOUR DE BREWTAH

Utah’s premiere “Bike & Brewtour” is proud to present our 10th annual event, where we invite riders of all abilities to join us for a “SPACED-X” experience.

To honor our 10th year, we are proud to offer 10 unique brewtour routes which launch from & return to The Gateway Plaza in downtown SLC on Saturday, May the 4th / 10:30am–7pm

For our 10th annual event we are proud to partner with & feature 28 local craft brew producers, who all are prepared to launch their finest cosmic drafts and pours your way.

For folks unable to participate in the ride, don’t fret! New for 2019 is our Tour de Brewtah Local Beer Festival at Gateway Plaza from noon to 7pm, where we bring all of our participating locally brewed products together for the public to sample. The festival is all-ages & free admission so patrons can bring their families to enjoy all that The Gateway has to offer, including live entertainment, food & drink, arts & crafts & the water fountain. An out-of-this-world afternoon of entertainment for everyone!

(2496 S W Temple) is the newest discovery in our local Brewiverse, while longtime south valley favorites Hopper’s (890 E Fort Union Blvd) and Bohemian Brewery (94 E Fort Union Blvd) inhabit the outer limits of Midvale with their tried & true brews. BREW TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION

The next generation of brewing in SLC’s universe is bright, and this orbit is a showcase of their talents. Right in the nebula of Sugarhouse is the neighborhood’s only operating brewery: Hopkins Brewing Company (1048 E 2100 S), which brings the new dope to thirsty space travelers. T.F. Brewing (936 S 300 W) is brewmaster Kevin Templin’s recently launched homebase, where family and expertly crafted brews are celebrated. Finally, voyage to Toasted Barrel (412 W 600 N) where barrel-aged & kettle sours, balanced IPAs and “wild” beers are not alien encounters, they’re the norm. Unsolved mysteries are abound on this highly-classified route—where you’ll uncover new truths about the local brewing scene—and debunk any recent propaganda you may have heard in the news. Visit RedRock’s brewing facility (443 N 400 W) to find the truth for yourself behind their craft-brewing mission. Kiitos (608 W 700 S) lurks at the center of the mysterious Granary district where their many new concoctions can be discovered. And dispel any notions of a Park City Brewing “brew-spiracy” by visiting their new top-secret facility at Shades (154 W Utopia Ave). Difficulty: Steer clear of the smoking man and you will find that the “Brewth” is out there.

ATTACK OF THE CLONES

The theory of an ever-expanding universe is one most of us accept, but when it comes to breweries, you don’t need to be a astrophysicist to appreciate the size of these shining quasars. The West Side Tavern & Cold Beer Store (1763 S 300 W) is the home planet of production for the Squatters & Wasatch brewing empire, featuring 24 taps of fresh, cold & award-winning draft beers to enjoy on-site or to-go 7-days a week. Proper Brewing (857 S Main St) keeps it real at all their locations, including Avenues Proper, Stratford Proper and of course Proper Burger. And visit Beer Bar (161 E 200 S) where the ”exponential” Epic Brewing will be pouring drafts which come from their multi-state production facilities. CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRST KIND

Make your first “close encounter” of the day with the fine folks at Uinta Brewing (1722 South Fremont Drive) where award-winning and thirst-quenching favorites will be on display. Let your tastebuds get abducted by a newcomer to the local brewing universe by visiting SaltFire (2199 S W Temple) to learn about their all-high-point product lineup. And no extraterrestrial experience is complete without a visit to Shades (154 W Utopia Ave), where all types of memorable brewing encounters are to be had. Let’s pay tribute to the 50th anniversary of the (alleged) Apollo 11 Moon Mission by trekking over to T.F. Brewing (936 S 300 W), which is brewmaster Kevin Templin’s recently constructed moonbase where he and his family “boldly go” where no one has gone before… on a daily basis. Gracie’s (326 S W Temple) plays host to Southern Utah’s Moab Brewing, whose beers have made the journey to SLC from infinity & beyond. After that, pedal your lunar rovers on down to RoHa Brewing Project (30 E Kensington Ave) where there’s always an interstellar one on draft. Difficulty: While you may not be the first explorers to step foot into these stellar breweries, you can still be like “buzz” while taking a giant sip for all mankind.

2019: A MICROBREW ODYSSEY

An epic sci-fi microbrew odyssey filled with adventure and zymurgic exploration. Rocket to Salt Flats Brewing Co. (2020 Industrial Cir Unit B), where these gear-heads-turned-craft-brewers really crank out some space-worthy suds. Your next challenge is to suspend animation whilst sampling Southern Utah’s Zion Brewery, who have braved the journey to SLC to pour at their interstellar host Beer Bar (161 E 200 S). From there your objective is to brave an untethered spaceride with your tour mates to planet RedRock’s production brewing facility (443 N 400 W) for a cosmic brew experience. Difficulty: This mission's true objective is to observe the “final gravity” of these fine breweries interstellar drafts.
